The Chaussures Pop and Go Sport stores are proud to announce that $110,968.79 was donated to Enfant Soleil as part of their 2026 annual campaign. Thanks to the commitment of the franchisees, store teams, and the incredible generosity of their customers, the two networks have helped raise nearly $600,000 over the past four years to support sick children in Quebec and their families.

This contribution adds to the amounts donated during previous campaigns: more than $151,000 in 2023, $175,000 in 2024, and more than $151,000 in 2025, making Enfant Soleil one of the most important and mobilizing causes for the Chaussures Pop and Go Sport networks.

“What makes us most proud of our commitment to Enfant Soleil is seeing employees and franchisees work together toward the same goal: making this fundraiser a success. As leaders, we are truly proud to see this mobilization come to life throughout the entire network,” says Gabrielle Côté, a representative of the fourth generation within the company that franchises Chaussures Pop and Go Sport stores.

“What also makes me very proud is the great generosity of our customers. We are truly fortunate to have such an engaged and generous community,” she adds.

A cause that reflects the company’s family values

Since their beginnings, Chaussures Pop and Go Sport have placed families at the heart of their mission. This commitment to Enfant Soleil naturally aligns with the values that guide both banners.

“Chaussures Pop has been a family story for 40 years now, with a mission to provide footwear for parents and children alike. At Go Sport, our mission is to get people of all ages moving. Health is a privilege. Enfant Soleil gives us the opportunity to give back to our community and help the children of our loyal customers,” explains Gabrielle Côté.

Remarkable mobilization in the stores

The 2026 campaign once again demonstrated the network’s ability to mobilize.

Among the stores that stood out, the Chaussures Pop and Go Sport store in Mont-Laurier achieved the network’s second-highest fundraising total by selling more than 530 tickets. To recognize this achievement, Katy Dufresne, accompanied by Ariane Paiement and Daphnée Piché, represented the network at the official cheque presentation during the Enfant Soleil Telethon.

The Drummondville store, recognized as one of the campaign’s leading fundraisers for several years, sold an impressive total of 1,201 tickets.

Every contribution counts

For Gabrielle Côté, businesses’ involvement with Enfant Soleil represents much more than a fundraiser.

“I would encourage every organization to get involved. A small donation can make a difference, and every contribution counts. It is an extremely rewarding experience and a special opportunity to witness the generosity of those around us. When a company gets involved, it inspires others to do the same. Together, we are building stronger, more supportive local communities.”

“Seeing the gratitude of the families we help is extremely rewarding and gives our commitment its full meaning,” she concludes.
